Heavylift shipping lines BigLift Shipping and Spliethoff have appointed Shearwater Shipping and Chartering as exclusive agent for the former and agent/preferred broker for the latter in the UK and Ireland. Amsterdam-based Spliethoff Group operates over 100 multipurpose and ro-ro vessels on regular direct services from Northern Europe to North America, Latin America including the Caribbean and Australia for forest products, project, heavy-lift and general cargo, and yachts.
