CMA CGM sells port stake

Container shipping line CMA CGM has agreed to sell its 49% of its share of its Terminal Link subsidiary to China Merchants Holdings (International) Company for €400 million. Terminal Link has a network of 15 terminals on key international shipping routeand provides stevedoring, storage and other container-handling activities to the world’s largest shipping lines. It is the 12th largest such operator in the world with 8.1m teu handled in 2011. [+]

Lufthansa's 'time:matters' special speed logistics division has further expanded its network in China. Bunn Fertiliser Limited has signed a five-year deal with PD Ports to supply its Scottish and northern UK customers with urea and Koch Advanced Nitrogen fertiliser products via Teesport. German-owned logistics company Dachser has acquired Spanish air and sea freight forwarder Transunion, subject to antitrust approval. The company has nine offices in Spain and is also represented in Turkey, Argentina, Peru and Mexico, with a staff of 235. [+]

IAG appoints

IAG Cargo has appointed Rodrigo Casal as vice-president for the Latin America region and Tony Snell as regional commercial manager in Middle East and Africa.
