Seminars to explore Atlantic Gateways and Trade Corridors

The Halifax Gateway Council and the High Commission of Canada are holding two seminars in London and Liverpool this month on Atlantic Gateways and Trade Corridors. A heavylift ship carrying five Chinese-built ‘megamax’ quayside cranes for the new Liverpool2 container terminal is nearing its destination. The cranes can handle 30 moves per hour can operate in wind speeds of up to 55 miles per hour. Liverpool's new container port is due to open in December. [+]

Geodis completes US buy

French-owned forwarder Geodis has completed its acquisition of Nashville, Tennessee-based Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL). Emirates joins battle against the poachers

Emirates has joined the fight against the illegal wildlife trade by painting up two of its A380s in a special livery featuring some of the planet’s threatened creatures.
