Jan de Rijk buys De Rooy

Airfreight trucking specialist Jan de Rijk Logistics has completed its takeover of fellow Netherlands firm, De Rooy Logistics. The company is specialised in transport, warehousing and value added logistics for the parts and automotive industry. [+]

New tank code published

ITCO, the International Tank Container Organisation, has launched the first corporate responsibility Code of Practice for the Tank Container Industry as a whole. Following a transition period of up to two years all ITCO members will be asked to sign. In the meantime, ITCO will promote and measure its implementation. www.itco.org [+]
