An-225 production to restart

The Aviation Industry Corporation of China has signed a deal with Ukraine’s Antonov Corporation to restart production of the AN-225, by most counts the world's largest cargo aircraft. The six-engined aircraft can carry up to 250 tonnes. Under the first phase of the agreement an incomplete second An-225 will be produced by 2019, followed by licensed production of modernised versions on the plane in China. [+]

Freightliner updates truck fleet

Freightliner is to acquire 50 new MAN tractor units after signing a deal with Oxford-based contract hire and leasing company Axis Fleet Management. They are due to be delivered in September and are fitted with safety features including Electronic Brake Assist and the Lane Guard System. [+]
