Associated British Ports has started work on a £4.5 million project to build additional warehousing at Newport to accommodate growth in agri cargo. The new 21 Shed will provide an additional 70,000sq ft of covered bulk storage.
Newport saw year-on year growth of 14% in bulk fertiliser imports during 2017 and a 54% increase in animal feed imports.
