DSV boosts transatlantic air space

DSV’s Air Charter Network is adding extra transatlantic air capacity for the peak season. Twice-weekly part-charters operate from Belgium to New York with trucking connections to the rest of the US. A weekly round trip flight between Luxemburg and Huntsville, Alabama, has also been added to the existing double weekly rotation. [+]

Turkish freighter for Heathrow

Turkish Cargo has added 95 destinations to its direct cargo network including London Heathrow, Bucharest, Bangkok, Singapore, Beirut and Lahore. The carrier says it now operates the widest freighter network in the world. [+]

Successful Plymouth trails for Brittany’s Galicia

Good growth for German air gateway

Leipzig Halle Airport recorded 18.6% growth in air freight in September, its strongest for eight years. Overall, the German airport handled about 120,758 tonnes of cargo. Air freight handled during the first nine months of the year rose to roughly 986,389 tonnes, an increase of 8.1%. [+]
