Emirates’ not so mini-freighter

Emirates SkyCargo is now using its Airbus A380 aircraft on cargo charter operations. The first dedicated Emirates A380 ‘mini-freighter’ moved medical supplies between Seoul and Amsterdam via Dubai. The carrier’s engineering and flight operations teams have optimised the aircraft to safely transport around 50 tonnes of cargo per flight in the bellyhold of the aircraft.
