Less-than-truckload surges as driver shortage bites

The last four months has seen a decline in full truckload shipments in the UK, and a corresponding increase in less-than-truckload shipments, according to the FourKites visibility platform. The proportion of full truckloads loads in the UK has decreased by between 5-15% in the past four months, while LTL loads have increased by 10-20%, it says.
