Virgin to offer London/Brussels airfreight service

Virgin Atlantic Cargo will offer up to 50 tonnes of bellyhold capacity on its new winter season flights between London Heathrow and Brussels which go into operation between 27 October and 29 March. The Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A350-1000 aircraft will move time-critical goods such as perishables and pharmaceuticals to European hubs, offering an alternative to airfreight trucking. UPS has announced third-quarter 2024 consolidated revenues of $22.2 billion, a 5.6% increase from the third quarter of 2023.
