Formula 1 adds Qatar SAF deal

Formula 1 has signed a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) programme with Qatar Airways, following its previously announced deal with DHL. The combined investment in the two programmes in 2024 will reduce emissions by over 8,000 tCO2e (tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent), around 19% less than using traditional aviation fuel.
