Manston ‘may have buyer’

North Thanet MP Sir Roger Gale told a public meeting on 26 April that Manston Airport may have found a buyer, the BBC reports. He told the gathering in Margatethat he had had a letter from a significant potential investor, “who I am satisfied – and I may be naive – has the money to make the bid.” The BBC reported his as saying after the meeting: “I don’t want to raise false hopes but I think there’s a real prospect, that if Ann Gloag is willing to sell at a fair price, then a fair price can be found and paid.”
