Birmingham forwarder celebrates first quarter century
[ July 11, 2014 // Chris ]Birmingham-based International Forwarding Limited, celebrates its 25th anniversary in the business this July.
In just a quarter of a century International Forwarding Limited has grown from just three members of staff and a single vehicle to a turnover of over £8 million, a staff of over 50 and offices in Birmingham, London and Dover.
The Palletways network member now handles over 200,000 consignments each year and has invested heavily in IT upgrades over the past year.
Commenting on celebrating 25 years in business, Roy Baker, original Managing Director and now part-time Director of International Forwarding Limited, said: “Remaining independent and putting the customer first have always been important factors for us and to be recognised for excelling in these areas by Palletways and award wins from the British International Freight Association, is testament to our commitment to this area.
“We have a loyal team at International Forwarding Limited who all share this vision and I’d like to thank everyone for their continued support in driving the business forward.”
