Lufthansa adds Lagos to freighter network
[ August 21, 2014 // Chris ]Lufthansa Cargo is to operate twice-weekly MD11 freigher flights from Frankfurt to Lagos from 15 September. A total of 170 tonnes of capacity will be available each week on the flights, which will operate on Monday and Thursday. After Lagos, the freighter will fly on to Johannesburg and the return leg to Frankfurt will include a stopover in Nairobi. Lufthansa also operates passenger flights with bellyhold freight capacity to Port Harcourt and Abuja with an Airbus A330.
