US marine chief pledges to tackle congestion

US Federal Maritime Commission chairman Mario Cordero says that his number one priority for 2015 would be to tackle the congestion that is plaguing the nation’s ports. It follows a series of public forums on port congestion and international supply chain efficiency issues and the focus is also in keeping with the Commission’s 2014-2018 Strategic Plan.
