GAC extends US reach

GAC Group is opening four new offices in the US – in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles. The Houston-headquartered logistics specialist said they would build on its existing foothold in the oil and gas sector as well as further expand its reach in the domestic and international automotive, FMCG, fashion and pharmaceuticals markets.
Group vice president – Americas, Lars Heisselberg, commented: “With five years in Houston’s O&G dominated logistics segment, we are very excited to now expand our US footprint in the general freight forwarding sector with these four initial offices. This new expansion firmly manifests the GAC Group’s long-term commitment to the US market, and our local, regional and global clients will benefit from the new additions to GAC’s global logistics reach.”
