MSC and Maersk clip Condor’s wings
[ August 13, 2015 // Chris ]MSC is to cease operation of its ‘Condor’ service, jointly operated with Maersk Line between Asia and Europe, from 14 September. However, the Condor service which has a nominal weekly capacity of 9,500 teu, will be deployed as a seasonal service if there is sufficient demand.
MSC says that since its new Asia – Europe network was launched in January 2015, continual performance analysis has allowed it to optimise capacity and further optimisation of the Asia-Europe Network is currently being planned. Full rotations and service details will be announced from 17 August.
