New plane is a tonic for medicine makers
[ December 2, 2015 // Chris ]IAG Cargo is replacing its remaining Airbus A321 on the Heathrow-Tel Aviv route with wide-body Boeing 777-200s. The twice daily service will benefit to Israel’s fast-growing temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals sector, says the carrier. Daily lift in summer will increase 72% to 29 tonnes.
Israel is a major manufacturer of pharmaceutical products and, by connecting through IAG Cargo’s London GDP approved Heathrow hub, Israeli drug companies’ benefit from access to 106 Constant Climate approved destinations, including extensive connections to the high-growth markets of Latin America.
