Tight squeeze on Teesside

AV Dawson’s Teesside North Sea Supply Base Terminal hosted the 33,628dwt bulk carrier Skala in December – the largest ever to cargo vessel in history ever to pass under Middlesbrough’s Transporter Bridge. Over the last three years the Teesside-based logistics specialist has dredged the river and developed its quayside. The largest ship previously to dock at the quay was around 12,500 tonnes.
