John Good gets airborne

Hull based John Good Shipping has launched a new air freight division. John Good Air will be based in Manchester and headed by air freight manager, Ed Clarke. He and his team will develop the company’s airfreight activities and import and export services to and from all main UK airports including Manchester and London Heathrow.
John Good managing director, Seamus Jennings, said: “We have been looking to establish ourselves in the air freight industry for a while now. Air freight is not new to us. However we felt that in order to meet our customers’ requirements and provide competitive rates, a separate division needed to be established.
“We are extremely fortunate that we have been able to team up with Ed Clarke, a highly experienced and respected figure in the air freight industry, and after a long time spent considering the various options, we can now look forward to stamping our mark on the air freight industry.”
