Promotion for C.H. Robinson’s man in Europe

US-owned C.H. Robinson has appointed Ivo Aris as vice president of its Europe Global Forwarding division. He has served as a director of Europe Global Forwarding since joining the company in 2013. The company says his appointment strengthens its commitment to the European market, which can be fragmented and diverse. Ivo Aris explains: “While C.H. Robinson is relatively modest in size (in Europe), we are able to leverage our powerful market presence in the US and on Trans-Pacific trade lanes when discussing rate levels with carriers. Also, our very efficient gateways enable us to offer highly-competitive buying rates.”
