New name, more data for Cargo 2000
[ March 17, 2016 // Chris ]Cargo 2000 (C2K) has rebranded as Cargo iQ as part of a strategic transformation programme including a Smart Data Project and new certification scheme. Emirates SkyCargo – previously an observer – has also joined the group, along with Brussels Airport, Frankfurt Airport, Vienna Airport and CargoAware,
The rebrand is part of a change programme, which has seen the 82-member IATA specialist interest group embark on a Smart Data Project, as well as a new audit and certification scheme.
Cargo iQ executive director, Ariaen Zimmerman said: “Our new Smart Data Project will add 110 million lines of performance data annually, allowing our members to further improve their processes and adding more value to the air cargo industry.”
This year, the group will implement a new audit and certification scheme, which is focused on giving the Cargo iQ Quality Management System Certification higher international recognition.”
