Iranian line restarts
[ March 17, 2016 // Chris ]Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has resumed its regular European Container Line (ECL) service between Northern Europe and ports in the Persian Gulf following its closure in mid-2010 on account of sanctions. The new service will be operated by 2,500teu vessels calling at Hamburg and Antwerp, Genoa, Istanbul, Port Said and Bandar Abbas.
In addition, the SEVGI conventional liner service will also resumed between Northern Europe and the Persian Gulf.
