DHL launches online truck marketplace

DHL Freight has introduced a virtual marketplace for business transport needs, CILLOX. It allows companies to match their full truck load, part truck load and less than truck load offerings with transport providers’ capacities and find the right provider. As well as streamlining the transportation proicess for shippers, transport providers gain from guaranteed fast payment with streamlined invoicing and payment processes, says DHL. Early user testing during the pilot period was carried out in September and the platform will be fully operational in January 2017.
