Panama comes to Liverpool
[ October 21, 2016 // Chris ]Senior figures from Panama’s Government, maritime, logistics, education and wider business community are visiting Liverpool next week to promote trade and investment relationships with the region.
The visit, organised jointly by Liverpool City Region LEP, Liverpool John Moore’s University and the Department for International Trade features a free to attend “Panama in Liverpool” Conference on Tuesday 25 October at 1 Mann Island, Liverpool from 9.00am.
Attendees will be able to meet the Panamanian delegation, which includes Minister of the Canal, Robert Roy, President of the Maritime Chamber of Commerce, Rommel Trotsch and President of Panama’s Chamber of Commerce, Jorge Garcia Icaza. With them will also be the British Ambassador to Panama, Ian Collard and the UK’s Director of Trade and Investment in Panama City, Ariel Perez Price.
