FedEx delivers life-saving aid to Haiti

More than 30 tons of critical aid is now on the ground in hurricane-stricken Haiti thanks to two FedEx charter flights.

Direct Relief filled a charter flight that took off from the Memphis World Hub and arrived in Port-au-Prince on 12 October 12 with supplies including medicines and medical equipment, hygiene kits and pop-up health facilities.

A second charter flight landed in Haiti on 13 October, filled with 35,000lbs of 11,000 hygiene kits, medicines and medical supplies from International Medical Corps and Heart to Heart International.
