Fruitful autumn for DSV

DSV Road said that its Purfleet and Tamworth centres both handled over 10 million freight kilos for the first time on record, with Tamworth repeating the feat in October. At the same time, its UK Domestic network handled over 60,000 consignments in September and again in October, the highest on record. Divisional general manager for UK domestic, Nick Trencher, said DSV had particular success in the home improvement sector, automotive after-market sector and disposable healthcare products. Imports from continental Europe has also increased after the summer.
