BDA does the heavy lifting in Africa

Time critical specialist BDA Logistics Innovation team member Michael Stier has been helping African villagers build dams to capture precious water and improve their lives.

The company is supporting the charity Excellent Development, which builds sand dams that store rainwater to provide a supply for around 1,000 people, protecting it from parasites and contamination. Families would otherwise spend hours each day searching for clean water can instead get on with farming or going to school.
