DFDS to raise cancer cash

[ November 2, 2017   //   ]

DFDS is helping to raise funds for research charity Breast Cancer Now. The ferry operator is donating £5 to the charity for every booking made on its Dover to Calais or Dunkirk services, through a dedicated ‘Think Pink’ page on its DFDS website.

On Friday 3 November, DFDS staff will ‘Wear it Pink’ in support of the charity, while six employees will run a relay marathon from Newhaven port to Dover port to raise further funds.

The Think Pink promotion is live until Thursday 30 November for travel until 23 March 2018.

DFDS’s freight arm is raising money through its special pink trailer promotion.
The pink ‘Drive out Breast Cancer’ trailer launched in October last year carries out regular pick ups and deliveries, with DFDS donating €1 for every ten kilometres completed. To date the trailer has covered more than 26,000km.
