DB Cargo extends Scots rail contract
[ January 22, 2018 // Chris ]DB Cargo UK has extended its contract with Malcolm Logistics for container rail services from Daventry to Scotland until August 2020.
The rail freight operator, the UK’s largest, signed an initial three year deal with the logistics operator in 2014, which will now continue for a further three years under a contract worth £21 million.
DB Cargo UK transports around 30,000 containers a year for Malcolm Logistics from Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal, to Mossend five days a week and to Grangemouth seven days a week.
