Ekol signs up Danish partner

Turkish-owned Ekol Logistics has signed a cooperation deal with Denmark’s Blue Water Shipping.

Ekol recently opened a new train service between Sete, France and Zeebrugge, Belgium and added a further ro ro vessel to its fleet. The new Turkey to Denmark service will be by ship between Yalova and Trieste followed by block train to Kiel and the last leg by truck.

Blue Water has more than 60 offices in the world and specialises in port services, energy projects, marine logistics and general cargo. Ekol says initially it will operate a Turkey/Denmark service but we may also add more countries in future.
