IT specialist for ECU – updated

NVOCC ECU Worldwide has appointed IT specialist Ashish Mathur as its group chief information officer. He will spearhead technology initiatives to enhance customer experience through automation, big data and artificial intelligence initiatives. Mr Mathur has held strategic roles in organisations such as Fidelity, Aon Hewitt, Barclays Bank, WNS Global and Maersk Group.

ECU Worldwide has meanwhile launched its ECU 360 digital tool which provides visibility of sailing schedules, quotes, bills of lading, port tariffs, and warehouse details, among others. It also helps customers reduce manual work in accessing information on areas such as invoices, customized reports and shipment tracking.
