WFS to build flying fish terminal in Oslo
[ August 14, 2018 // Chris ]Handler Worldwide Flight Services has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sjømatterminalen to operate the Seafood Center at Oslo Airport. It will handle up to 250,000 tons a year and meet industry requirements for cool chain logistics. Construction of the terminal is expected to start in April 2019, with opening in 2021. Airfreighted Norwegian seafood as air cargo is expected to reach s 230,000 tons in 2018 and Oslo is now the largest freighter airport in Northern Europe with 14 cargo airlines calling weekly.
