From Logistics Academy to the sharp end

PD Ports has welcomed Michael Chapman to its team, following his successful completion of a programme delivered in partnership with Stockton Riverside College and the Tees Valley Logistics Academy.

While studying a BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering he attended a workshop with the Logistics Academy and was selected from a group of five students for an initial internship. He spent four weeks at PD Ports’ Warehouse Operations in Billinghame and was involved with the Taylors of Harrogate contract, completing his Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship with distinction in March.
