Rhenus extends its Americas empire

German-owned forwarder Rhenus has acquired Miami-based Freight Logistics. Freight Logistics operates its own consolidation hub near the International Airport in Miami and has its own offices in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. It follows acquisitions by the Rhenus Group in Brazil and Canada.

Freight Logistics s founded in 2001 specialises in supply-chain solutions, air and ocean transport, customs brokerage, compliance, warehousing and distribution and is IATA-accredited and a licensed NVOCC.

The current management team and all employees in the region will remain with the company.
