Europa spruces up Birmingham site

Europa Worldwide has invested over £250,000 in refitting its Birmingham site as part of a company-wide refresh.

Europa’s Minworth site at Prologis Park is home to all four divisions of the business, Europa Sea and Europa Showfreight as well Europa Road’s regional team and a 16,536sq m warehouse.

Europa HR director Carl Potter (main picture) said: “This significant investment in our Minworth facility, which will be completed in July this year, will make this site a much better place to work for all staff. We’ve been gradually working through each of our sites in turn, refreshing them to the highest of standards, and feedback from our employees is that the investment has really given them a boost.”

New air conditioning will be installed throughout all the office spaces, along with new desks and office furniture to allow for further team expansions, an IT and electrical refit, new meeting rooms and informal spaces created and new carpets and redecoration throughout. There will also be a focus on recycling, with more options for plastics and paper throughout the facility.
