Forth Ports habour master takes on national role

Forth Ports senior harbour master Ashley Nicholson has become the first woman to become vice-president of the UK Harbour Masters Association as well as the youngest certificated harbour master in the UK to hold the role. She has worked for Forth Ports for nearly 12 years and has since 2017 been the Senior Harbour Master based in Leith.

The Association encourages the safe and efficient conduct of marine operations in ports.
