DHL takes first steps in IT evolution

DHL Freight has taken the first major step towards creating a single Transport Management System (TMS) for all its operations throughout Europe, rolling out its EVO software at all its terminals in France. It will then be introduced in Turkey. EVO has been developed entirely in-house to match the specific requirements of DHL Freight operations and unites IT processes including order entry, invoicing, pickup and delivery. Full roll-out should be completed by 2022.
