DSV to offer drop-trailer option

DSV has launched a full load unaccompanied trailer service between Germany, Central and Eastern Europe and the UK via the Immingham/Rotterdam route.

Aimed at less time-sensitive and non-perishable goods, the unaccompanied service offers cost and flexibility advantages and, with Brexit on the horizon, it will be an alternative solution for moving goods in and out of Europe.

Haulage in the UK and within Europe will be provided by DSV’s own fleet of tractor units. DSV will provide complete tracking consignments via the myDSV portal.

Groupage will be offered in a second phase of the service.
