Member states warned on working time
[ April 27, 2012 // Chris ]The European Commission has sent warnings (“reasoned opinions”) to Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Poland, Portugal and Spain telling them to apply the Working Time Directive to . If they fail to do so within two months, the Commission could refer the cases to the European Court of Justice. The Commission says that not imposing the directive would allow self-employed drivers to ignore weekly working time limits and would distort competition.
