EV Cargo offers road air alternative

EV Cargo has launched a twice-weekly road-air service from China to London Heathrow using dedicated charter capacity from Urumqi Diwopu airport in the Xinjiang region of north-west China. It can also arrange onward transport to a number of European countries. The service is intended to provide a cost-effective alternative to hard-pressed shipping services from China to Europe. Typical transit times include Beijing to Heathrow in 5½ days, Shanghai or Qingdao in 6½ days and Guangzhou in 7½ days.
