Six days a week for Germany-Italy trains
[ September 1, 2021 // Chris ]Italian state railway subsidiary TX Logistik is increasing the number of round trip trains on the Duisburg – Segrate (Milan) route from five to six per week from 6 September, adding a Saturday departure to the existing Monday to Friday schedule. Since the expansion of the Gotthard tunnel, 4m high trailers can be transported by rail through Switzerland without any restrictions. This has given an additional boost to demand on this route. In addition to semi-trailers, the train can carry containers, swap bodies and tank and silo units.
