Triple-digit trailer order for CCC

Europa Worldwide Group’s full load arm, Continental Cargo Carriers (CCC), is spending €4.2m on 156 new trailers to expand its fleet by 42% – the biggest single investment since the company was acquired in 2018.

CCC currently operates 270 trailers from its warehouse bases in Dartford and Belgium but more are needed due to “immense demand” following the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions. General manager Carlo Turner (pictured below), says there had been a remarkable increase in daily full and part load traffic over the past year and CCC was now delivering an average of 22,000 loads a year.

CCC is also planning to recruit four new people to its currently 32 strong workforce.
