Tunnel traffic down by a tenth

Eurotunnel operator Getlink said its Le Shuttle Freight service transported 131,298 trucks in November, a decrease of 10% compared to 2020 due to an unfavourable comparison because of stockpiling in anticipation of Brexit last year. The passenger service moved 96,506 vehicles, up 89% compared to November 2020, due to less restrictive travel conditions.
