Railtour reaches places other trains cannot
[ December 20, 2021 // Chris ]GB Railfreight (GBRf) has raised more than £147,000 for its charity partner, Prostate Cancer UK through its GBRf 2021 railtour for train enthusiasts. The four-day charity charter travelled across different parts of the UK rail network on 2-5 September.
Its success was underpinned by the support of the wider rail industry and 50 volunteers from GBRf who gave up their own time to work as train drivers and stewards.
Funds raised will go into lifesaving research to make prostate cancer a disease men and their families no longer fear.
