Rhenus acquires in Sweden

Germany’s Rhenus Group has acquired Swedish road transport specialist, MTS Malmö Transport & Spedition. The forwarder says it will enhance its general cargo and temperature-controlled services as well as customs clearance and will gain it new routes to Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey.

MTS offers FTL, LTL, groupage, ADR and temperature-controlled services for pharmaceuticals, fresh produce and other temperature-sensitive goods and is AEO certified by the Swedish customs authority.

Rhenus opened sites in Norway and Denmark in 2022 and acquired one of the leading Danish third-party logistics specialists, DKI.
