Maersk to divest Russian sites

AP Moller-Maersk (Maersk) has signed an agreement to divest its logistics sites in St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk to IG Finance Development. It follows the company’s decision in March 2022 to discontinue activities in Russia following its invasion of Ukraine. The 28,750sq m inland depot in Novorossiysk specialises in handling commercial cargo such as grains from railway wagons to sea containers. The chilled and frozen warehouse in St. Petersburg is a 23,500sq m site established in 2020.
