Gebrüder Weiss buys in southern Germany

Austrian forwarder Gebrüder Weiss has acquired Nuremberg , southern Germany-based B+A Luft- und Seefrachtspedition. The new subsidiary specializes in the import and export of groupage freight containers between Asia and Germany, and will be integrated into the Gebrüder Weiss network. The company’s 20 employees will be retained and the company will continue to operate under its own name. Gebrüder Weiss’s existing branch in Nuremberg has so far been focused on land transport and logistics.
