Maastricht Airport reopens
[ July 3, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Maastricht Aachen Airport officially reopened its upgraded runway on 30 June after a planned eight-week closure. The second largest cargo hub in the Netherlands has invested €35.3 million as part of a plan to extend its operational length to 2,750 meters by January 2025. Cargo operations have now returned, with Turkish Cargo operating five flights a week while Royal Jordanian and Emirates SkyCargo are running two flights each week.
Royal Schiphol Group finalized a deal with Limburg province in June to take a 40% in the airport.
