Arvato opens DC for Douglas

Supply chain specialist Arvato and European beauty and cosmetics omnichannel retailer Douglas have officially opened a new distribution centre in Hamm, Germany.

With a total area of 38,000sq m, Arvato will handle all logistics for store deliveries and online business in the region, including returns management. It triples warehouse capacity for the retailer, whose online sales have grown 20% per year over the past five years.
